Sunday in the park

So, there I was enjoying a nice Sunday at my local fair minding my own business when all hell broke loose.
I mean sure I had cut thru the gate after hours to get in, but man have ya ever been out on a Sunday at an amusement park?
The crowd’s are ridiculous, kids screaming, parents screaming at the kids for screaming.
Not to mention all the women in various forms of undress trying to beat the heat, the sweat dripping between…( on second thought I don’t mind that)

Ok, now that that thought has cleared my mind back to the story at hand.
I knew that the chance to snag up on some delicious 8f8 Ice cream was coming to a close fast and I just can’t get enough of it.
I had heard that Megan Prumier & xjetx chrome had updated DeadPool so I decided to go there and see if  I could get my favorite treat.
The build is amazing and a must see, make sure you use the wl that is for the sim for a really nice visit.
I explored a bit and then I saw my prize. ( Ok…I joined the group to get rezz rights and may or may not have placed a few out)
I had just sat down to enjoy when security came around the corner and these aren’t ordinary guards! I was a bit worried since my friend and ace shooter Jordy Zipdash ( click the hyper for a link to his flickr)
wasn’t around but no one was getting my ice cream!

A vikings home

When I did ” A Vikings landing” I knew I wanted to come back and revisit Frogstar’s Sirgun’s Lodge and show you an inside view. While I might not be a Viking I think one would be at home here. I love both the textures and the Fire pit that sits in the center ( which is Mod so you can move it where you wish ). There is even a small loft overhead that has enough room for a bed.
I had also seen the Dʏsғᴜɴᴄᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Dᴇsɪɢɴs Viking set at The Tales Of Fantasy and made sure I went back and got it, because after a long Journey ( hell just looking at it made me hungry) a Viking needs his food.
ThenI suppose he needs a hot bath and a comfortable chair to sit in after to watch the flames in the fire and see where his next adventure might lead. PFC makes awesome furniture as well as weapons, armor. clothing and other Accessories and I knew that the Hot barrel bath and Hunters rest throne would fit the scene well, so off I went and gots me some new furnishing. Along with the PFC thingsI knew that I had the a i s l i n g animal rugs and torches. both of which finished the scene.

A man and his Hog

While exploring this vast world we call Second life one never knows what they will see..and this happens to be one of those times. Here I was enjoying a nice ride on my spiffy new Hog, not to mention my new vest from papermoon, when in the distant I saw a jesus saves sign shining in the glow of the moon. It drew me light a moth to a flame, like a horse to water, like spammers to a safe hub.
I turned the corner and what do I see? This run down dive bar clearly in the need of some attention. I had been set up! I swear these spammers are getting more and more clever because they know i can’t stand anything less than perfect. Not one to mull about I hopped off Betsy ( yes..thats my Hogs name) And headed inside with my tool belt..and by tool belt I meant my wallet, surely these girls needed my attention.

A viking landing

Now back to the task at hand.
I have been wanting to do another Viking post for a while and just could not for the life of me put it all together. But this month’s round of The Fantasy Collective put all the pieces in place. The Viking hair from ~Tableau Vivant~ is amazing and the cost wasn’t bad. I also had the help ( ok review copies ) of the Frogstar – Sigrun’s Lodge and the [Forge] Skuldelev Ship both of which are totally awesome sauce! Not to mention my new found bestie Pucca Firecaster who provided me once again with my weapons of the day. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Morning Glory

So, here i was minding my own business and trying to be a good boy. I was setting up for my next shot ( which was going to be totally innocent ) when I reposted my blog into Gacha Addicts. I then went to get my flickr link as well and checked on my peeps most recent pictures……and there i saw it.

Duchess Flux in the water flagrantly flaunting her ass! I mean who in the heck does she think she is trying to dethrowne me and my flagrant display of ass! Well this just cannot be, so I called upon my ass to go into battle. Luckily my routine of squat thrusts and booty claps has paid off recently because there is no second place in this war. It’s every Ass for themselves and they have been taught to take no prisoners!

It seems that other’s have joined the fray and it’s a free for all until the last Ass is standing!
Caitlin ‘Caity’ Tobias was last seen flagrantly flaunting her ass after causing a boeing pilot to make a water landing for a closer look. What in the world was she thinking! she needs to hide that ass for the safety of all nations!

I had seen the new Tableau Vivant viking hair at The Fantasy Collective and was thinking of buying it for an upcoming shoot. But when I saw Duchess’s picture  of the hair combined with the Hex Tattoo by Reckless from the Big Show I knew it was a perfect combination. So my thanks go out to her.

Dragon born

I have had this outfit made for a while( Since the last FGC ) but could never put it all together with a scene. But…I put my mind to it finally and this is the outcome. Hopefully you enjoy it.

I often dreamt of dragons when I was younger. Not to be fierce and breathe fire, not to have a hoard of gold. I dreamt about their grace and wisdom. I dreamt about how free it must feel to fly and to feel the wind beneath my wings. The ability to escape on the wind and leave what trouble lay before behind. Though now..thinking about it I probably wouldn’t have made a good dragon having broke my ankle numerous times playing basketball, football and riding Motocross( which was as close to flying that i came when i was a youngster).
Later I would join the Army and jump out of perfectly good planes…for no apparent reason. If freefalling is anything like being a dragon..I think i would need to wear a helmet and goggles cuz man do the tears flow when the wind starts whipping across your face.

I will Survive

The hair fair is in a few days and is a good cause as it sponsors WIGS For Kids and this is my entry for the contest. I hope the event raises awareness to the problems that are faced by not only children but all of us that have  been thru similar  circumstances.

Summerfest is upon us and once again 8f8 didn’t disappoint, Ibi has created a driftwood collection thats perfect for the beach, or in my case being washed ashore on a deserted island. With a texture change hud in every piece of cloth I’m sure you’ll find something that suits your style.

That out of the way place for you and someone special is easy to make as well. I’ve always dreamt of being shipwrecked on a deserted island with the one I love, but realized I could never stand being alone for a week with her..God I’m glad she has girlfriends. I mean..come on..ya know what the to do list would look like!

Hurricane ibi

 

Hello all,
This post has a two-fold purpose as I just had to do something with the Noh8 tattoo I got from my awesome friend ….oh..crap
…what was the name..oh yeah Roxi ( who got it from a friend of hers)
Love is where you find it no matter what gender you find it in was a lesson I learned a few years back when my son finally admitted to living an alternative lifestyle. I was sad and angry at first then thought of all the pain he must have been going thru all those years knowing the fact that he had to bury what he felt in his heart and soul for my sake. It was then I realized how much suffering people like him go thru. I love him now more than ever for being brave enough to stand up and face the world, and if he could do it..well..I’m going to be right there standing up with him. ( Unless he votes for Obama again )

Then we have the afore mentioned hurricane I like to call ibi. His Ice Cream Dreams set is just amazing, and even more amazing was the amount of attention the #29 vintage chair received. It was a hard pull to get and ya need more than one ( I myself just make my friends sit at my feet while I pretend I’m the king of the mountain).
I also decided to put another one of my favorite designers things to the test and see if my Balaclava Builders Parade could help me pick up after Hurricane ibi nearly destroyed my wallet. I have been collecting Uriah’s things since he first began making them for the Arcade and other events. They bring back a sense of my childhood and one can never forget that.
Last but not least is the buildings I chose for the background. When I first decided to do this shoot my mind immediately went to CRIMARIZON which is owned by Megan Prumier. She does destruction so daym well!

In to the arena a world apart,

Two men enter one man leaves,
Fight to the death for all to see,
Oh hell no! we all know Im a lover not a fighter, but if I got to fight ( and more than likely die ) there’s no way I’m going out in dirty, grimy armor.
They might say after ” Holy hell that guy couldn’t fight at all, but daym did ya see how shinny his armor was when he went down!”

Bali Paradise

I have always dreamed of going somewhere in the Tropic’s on vacation. The sun, crystal clear water and fresh air. ( and bikini’s..lots and lots of bikini’s)
8f8 has created a gorgeous Bali Resort Collection for us right here in SL for the upcoming TLC event. I did a little research and found out that bali also has so nice outcroppings and private islands devoid of the typical “tropic” palms so I knew paradise was right around the corner for me.
I know your asking yourself why you would ever give up the beach and sand for rocks and dirt. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves and you can imagine being totally alone with the one you love ( until you’ve spent a week totally alone with them) on this beautiful little slice of paradise that with the help of 8f8 I have been able to create in our little world we call SL
