Tuscany anyone?

If I had my choice of going to one place before I died (other than being able to see my fathers land again) that place would be Italy. For years I have dreamt about it..and when I said dream..its just that,,daym it. I wouldn’t got for the wine nor the cheese..I would go there for the landscape and buildings. It amazes me how absolutely beautiful it is. From the sea side towns perched on top of giant cliffs to the rolling hills of wine country.

Well..ya know what they say ” if you can dream it..someone in SL will eventually build it.” Thats what 8f8 has done and in AMAZING detail. When I saw the pictures on his flickr I knew it had to be mine..it had to. Luckily I blog for him..Thank God! I am so freakin blown away by this set. I knew a few days in advance that it was coming out so I had to prepare to make room on the sim for this beautiful build and all the other goodies that come in the set. So..being a man of sound mind..I cleared all my other gacha boxes ( yes..I put my items into boxes and have a giant prim rezzed with the letters of the alphabet and each one go’s where it belongs) and even..picked up my resale store….Did I mention that it is amazing? Then I sat..and waited for what seemed years until he put out the notice in his blogger group. ( ok..it was only a few days..but we all know what the build up to the Arcade opening is like) As soon as the notice was sent out..and probably before the ink was dried on it.. I was on him like a fat kid to cake..and then..Heaven itself opened up ..I saw two angels, carrying a package with my named etched in gold on the front, float down from above and place the box ever so gently on the ground before my feet. They then turned around and flew back up from whence they came. I smiled and waved at them, watching them ascend. As soon as those two were out of sight…I ripped that shit open as fast as I could and rezzed the whole collection..then stood there, awe struck.
Today..I am bringing you a bit of a teaser post, with the rest to follow in the coming days. Ya have to see all the other things silly,but right now I present you with the….8f8 primavera in Toscana.

The Horde

Today I decided to switch it up a bit and bring out..The Horde for a shot I have been meaning to do with Munereia’s Thief Fortress. This thing is awesome! each piece come complete with a texture hud that lets you choose between 5 different textures..yes 5!..who does that for rp stuffs!. theres 4 different types of towers, ones with and without towers and one with and without a full enclosure on the platform. freaking nice.it is still Available at the FGC so run on over and take a gander and a few pulls!
Next is the [HL] Orchish Horde, another simply wonderfully done collection 12 pieces in all..go get yours now. And while your there..go ahead and pick up the Impaled Corpses …why?..cuz…just cuz.
Now, I am sure you have heard of [Tia], shame on you if you haven’t. She makes some of the most gorgeous stuff for your rp needs, From weapon racks to chicken coops, her place has it all. I lined the trail of the road with a few of her Tall braziers, they add just the right amount of light into the picture.
Speaking of adding just the right amount I also put down 2 of the best..and I do mean that..best Ballista I have ever laid  my eye’s  on. The Ravenghost Ballista is done to perfection, from the modeling down to the textures. Did  i meant ion that it has an actual projectile..that light on fire and can fly across the sim. Now..ya got to aim this thing..and you get that done by controlling the angle and pitch thru some interactive dials at the back..thats right…hit or miss is up to you…Im telling ya..you need these.

So..here I was minding  my own business playing a  bit  on this  old piano just for kicks. When in walks this blonde..Hot daym its Jerry lee lewis  time! And the first song that came to mind was
BAAM! I had No idea what was hotter..my fingers on the keys or the deep dive  of her dress. Either way I knew I was In trouble. Thing  is..I think she just wanted to show off her chops and used that dress to get her way. Make sure ya visit Roxi’s Blog for  her version.

The Shinny Shabby event will open up on the 20th..but..until then I’ll keep pounding the keys on 7’s offering for the event…this holy hell ima light  it on fire Piano!..its simply amazing with plenty  of poses for you to try  out. It was no easy task to get the  old  leg  up there..but..I had to do something  to peacock this  bombshell! ( actually I had  help from the Animare hud)

The Mens Lounge

Today I am bringing you items from 3 different events. All of them are marvelous creations.
When I saw the Apple Fall collection I  knew I had  to have  it..getting it was another problem all together lol. I was having  one  of those days where nothing  was rezzing..and I mean  nothing  lol..so..I was desperate and had Rhenu login on my avi and buy the items I wanted. That worked to a  point, but alas she could not see the last few items..so..she  logged off and gave the reigns to Cinder…Baam..done. I came back in world  myself and for some reason smelled like a girl..meh.
It seems Everything Apple Fall touches turns to gold, the attention to the  little details is just amazing. I also wanted a bit  of  what The Loft released for the same event..I had  my idea already and the My Love, My Beard was perfect.
The Loft never disappoints..ever. The attention to details  is once again top of the line. I love being inspired by creators to come up with something a bit different than whats normally shot..and the combo of everything in the picture did just that  for  me. I picked up one  more thing while at C88 that being the Junk Radiator..I have  been looking for a decent one  of these for a  long time..a  long time so had to pick it up…its wonderfully  done!
Now  I needed a tub..and where  better to find a classic than Trompe..such an amazing set. And  while  I may have Modded a few  of the towel racks ( I needed the items daym it!) it  is  one  on the stores I depend on almost daily. Everything  is well thought  out and textured..plus  its set at a reasonable price!..ya  can’t  beat  that. Lastly, Cinder started rezzing some  items she had gotten from the  perfect 10 event and I have to say once again I am delighted with what Lovers PlayGround released. Of course I had  to have the towel on the  floor..just had  to lol.  if ya  notice..the daym scale  is right where  it should  be..under the counter and forgotten lol.  A mans Bathroom would not  be complete without a shaving kit…so..Post’s DeWitt is what I brought  to the table. Still amazing  for an older  item, yet adds so much.

So, Roxi went and  made a malt yesterday (who will from this  point  out be called Raltxi) so she could  blog the !APHORISM! Vintage Crew Suit. It took some time but I think we did ok ( thank god for freebies and Depraved nation’s Jack & Jill hunt) Now we  just have to get her  out  of those penguin hands. I can see why  she wanted to blog the suit its very well done. I will let her clammer about it ( here) on her  own blog as I already have.
Myself..well I am once again wearing  some things from the love  is  in the air event..ok..one thing..but its gorgeous. The [Deadwool] Dandy suit is just fabulous, you can pull off so many looks with it ( get the Fatpack!) Myself and Raltxi are both wearing the [Deadwool] Fedora’s, another amazing creation and IMO makes all my other Fedora’s obsolete, as  does his Bowler and Flat Caps. hat hair  is always a problem..but..you can solve that by ( if ya don’t mind wearing a black hair) getting yourself the REDGRAVE Cruz hair..it comes in two separate pieces ( Front and back) and  is  modifiable down to the last hair via  a resizer. I am also wearing what I think will fast become my favorite pair ( or pairs with the Fatpack) of shoes. The JD  Valentino leaves  little to be desired, so many colors and combo’s available I cannot possibly mention them all. Go get them!

Caught ya

 

Bringing you the last few items for the guys from the Love is in the Air, a few items from C88 and TMD, all of them fresh and clean. And also Another story.
I had met Rhenu when she was pregnant for a whole sl nine months..WTH! We started talking thru group chat and  IM and one thing lead to another. It took some  convincing and bribing, but here we are over 1 year later and she  is still driving  me batty. Short, funny, sweet and irritating…just how  I like them. She  is another one that has done so much to improve my time  in SL and  one  of  my inspirations to start blogging ( Daym you!)
She  is one  of the very few in SL that cares about everyone  in her inner circle and will do just about anything to see that they are happy. ( I still haven’t convinced her  on the donkey show yet) I Liver You!

Trompe released her Amelia Cabin for C88 and its amazing..The build  is amazing, the textures  and bake  even more so. Junk has released the edging ton bench, Again very very  nice..and theres an adult version so woots!
The only other items that I want to highlight are the {what next} Love is in the Air Balloons released for Love is in the air, What an amazing prop! not only does it  come with 4 single poses it also has 3 couples.
Next is the !APHORISM! Vintage Crew Suit  which is also very well done with 6  different color options as well as 2 color options for a Turtle Neck.
Last but oh certainly not last  is a new shoe I ran across while at TMD, that being the JD – Valentino shoe, simply amazing, while there are a variety of colors I chose the fatpack, because well..all the bonus textures! The shoe is  not only well done, theres also a sock that comes with it, with a variety of  colors and the option to show or hide. You wear these separately so they will be a nice addition to my wardrobe as I can wear them with other shoes.

The Pier

Almost 3 1/2 yrs ago I was at work, On a  Mobile App ( shame  on me) when out  of the blue  I get sent an IM and picture.  ” we are crashing your dock” was the  message. Of  course  I was curios and asked who she was,the answer ” well Duh, I’m the hot  blonde”. That was the first few words of a relationship/ Friendship that has grown 100 fold. Roxi has  been with  me thru thick and  thin, thru my battles and  victories.  mainly battles  lol. But..in the end we have always  known when it comes time we can count  on each other. I can not begin to express how I feel about this woman so I will sum it up with three words ” I’m an Avocado” Watch the link to the song ( here) and below you will see the first picture she sent..smiles..no..we weren’t pro’s.

Todays  post  I am bringing you 2 skins that are available at the Love is  in the Air event. The first  one  being the -Belleza- Mae Desire, Man have we came along way when the mesh bodes were made for the women of second life. They are a work of art.  She is also wearing a  new release by ARGRACE, that  being the IRORI hair..I love this place..and wear the male hair almost daily. It comes complete with the scarf in different  colors. The dress..oh the dress, though you can not see them it comes complete with shorts and thigh high boots…yummy. It seems ( because  I am not the  one wearing it) to fit and  move well in poses and is very well done. It’s available @ We Love Rp

Ok, Once again back to the  man stuffs! I am wearing the Clef de Peau:Tadao:Skin thats at the event, it comes with appliers for the slink ands and feet as well as a full applier for the TMP newest mesh male  body, 4 tones  in all. It has..to me an Asian  look but  what do I know  lol. Once again I am also wearing the [Deadwool]  Dandy suit also available at Love is in the Air..This  time  in  the Blanket texture. I have toted about what I think  ( here).  I am also wearing His Bowler hat..and I love it. Was very easy to actually wear a decent hair under it and the textures are to die for.
