Before Dawn

Hello all, today I am bringing you a bit of a closer look at DRD’s offering for the Fantasy Faire. I was able to get the mega pack of the build ( very much worth it) and decided to build my own version. As many of you know RFL hits home for me in so many ways. Not only did I loose my father to it, I also had my own battle with it. I will be able to leave the build up for a while after the event closes so feel free to come and explore.I have taken a few general shots as to show more detail of this wonderful DRD offering.
Please visit the Original as well, she has items that will only be available during the event which ends May 1st. I would also like to thank the people at the events we have managed to put up a RFL kiosk and Fantasy Faire poster on the sim which not only gives you a chance to make a difference by donating it also lets you find out a bit more about the event and what it does for RFL. Again GO VISIT THE FAIRE WHILE YOU CAN!

PS..The  photos are  unedited  as  I wanted  to show  as much of the  original  detail as  I  could.  But theres  a lot  more  to  explores I didn’t  give  you  some  of the  best  spots…those are up to  you  to find!

Dangarnon by DRD

Hello all, The Fantasy Faire is well upon us and I had a chance to visit DRD’s sim build that she named Dangarnon. The sim is gorgeous..and.. and get this…for sale! You can buy every piece of it..well all but the tower. You can get that but it will be an auction item. Check the website for more info on that. It benefits the RLF and if my guess is right the town is going to bring a ton.
The sim is filled with nooks and crannies, secret passageways and a cave. I will leave you to find the cave on your own but I will tell you one thing about it… bring bear spray and a whistle ( not that it will do you any good).
I am  adding Jaimy’s  flickr  page so  you  can  see the whole  collection..but  I can tell  you that  it will not  disappoint.

Hanging on to History

 

Dotted across  the  U.S are  time capsules  of  days  gone  past, From the Cadillac  Ranch to Elmers Bottle  Ranch,  giant  sized  bovine and  balls  of  twine.  Themes  from  the wild  west  to  U.F.O’s nothing  was  off  limits. They  stand  today ( some  are  not  quite standing) as  a  living  memory to  those  that helped  form the  highway system.  Those were  the  glory  days  of  mom and  pop stores, motels  and  roadside  attractions. Sadly today they  are  mostly a  faded  memory  and  most  will  never  have  the chance  to  see them.
Little  is  known  about  the  little  spot  I  came  across  while  traveling  down  that  old  road. I wandered around  a  bit  only  to  find  a  few  scaps  of  paper and  ”  For  a  good  time  call Keiko Zoon 8675309″ scratched  all  over the  bathroom.

So there  I was  minding  my  own  business and  saying   my  daily  prayers.. Listens  for  thunder. when  Roxi  called  and  said  she  needed  me. I,  being the  perfect  gentleman,  I  rushed  right  over to  the  address  she  gave  me. It was  on the  bad  side  of  town  full  of  seedy  motels  and  women  of  the  night  full of  seed. Much to  my  surprise I  found  her  in  one  of  the  seediest of  them  all, covered  in  seed!  As  you  can  tell  by  the  picture  I  was a  sad  puppy.  It  seemed  like  an  after party, the  crew  members were  clowning  around and  the  daym  director was  making  a  monkey  out  of  himself.    I thought  I was  about  to  get  us  both  out  of  there  when  suddenly  the  director   clanged  the  cymbals  together  and  yelled ”  ACTION!”…  whats  a  man  to  do…
