The Penny Arcade

Well folks ya know  what  time  it  is… it’s Arcade  time!
Nomad  released these fantastic  animated vintage arcade  games  for  the event and I  wanted  to  squeeze in as  many  as  I  could to give  you a gander…..did  ya  gander?
I  combined  them with  a lot of the older nomad  collections..along  with 8f8 and  a  few others to give it  an old penny arcade feel..hopefully I pulled it  off.
And  of course I  had  to give it  some life  and  added  the Black  Bantam Justin..cuz  he  is  cute and  brings  the whole picture  together.

Into the heart of Kaispeicher

22769  made  these  fantastic warehouses for  6 republic, I  had  looked  the  district up  as  soon as  I  saw them on flickr along  with  a  short  history lesson which  I will  quote  from. ” we choose a special part of our hometown to recreate for the Theme: Destination Europe. The Speicherstadt Hamburg. Since 2015 this part is protected as world culture heritage. Until today most parst of the storage buildings -called kaispeicher- are used by coffee manufacturers.” To see  more of  what Maneul  said visit  his  flickr  here.

I  know..the event  is  over, but , hopefully  soon they  will be  available  in store  and on the  MP, but  until  then..sit  back, relax  and  enjoy  the  view.

Hello  all,  6 republic  closes in a  few days..but  I still have  lots  to post  about!
Remember  in  my  last post I said you could build a  city with  the amount  of  items available there? Well this  is  more! I”m  telling  you the possibilities are  endless.

I was  scrolling  thru my  flickr the other day and  came  across Jeff Goodnight’s photo’s of what  he  did  with  the  MadPea build  from  the  event. You can  see his  photo here.
The  set up is  perfect and  theres  a lot more than  what  I  took a  picture  of. There  is  a  whole amusement  park complete with  rollercoasters,  bumper cars , a market and  of  course  his store. (I was  told the  store didn’t matter as long  as people enjoyed the sim.. what  a  guy!) you really owe it  to yourself to go have  a look around  and  who knows you might  be inspired  to make  your own  Helsinki.
