Ghouls and ghosts,
Haunt the night,
As night haunts
The empty coast.
Counting the days,
A loneliness:
Alone in this,
This ever present haze.
The sand lies beneath thee,
A light travels;
Travelling light,
To move beside the dying sea.
A tower rises, bends,
An eye brightly gleams;
With gleaming eyes,
The traveler ascends.
Under the giant’s watchful eye,
To sleep at last,
A last sleep,
