So, Roxi went and  made a malt yesterday (who will from this  point  out be called Raltxi) so she could  blog the !APHORISM! Vintage Crew Suit. It took some time but I think we did ok ( thank god for freebies and Depraved nation’s Jack & Jill hunt) Now we  just have to get her  out  of those penguin hands. I can see why  she wanted to blog the suit its very well done. I will let her clammer about it ( here) on her  own blog as I already have.
Myself..well I am once again wearing  some things from the love  is  in the air event..ok..one thing..but its gorgeous. The [Deadwool] Dandy suit is just fabulous, you can pull off so many looks with it ( get the Fatpack!) Myself and Raltxi are both wearing the [Deadwool] Fedora’s, another amazing creation and IMO makes all my other Fedora’s obsolete, as  does his Bowler and Flat Caps. hat hair  is always a problem..but..you can solve that by ( if ya don’t mind wearing a black hair) getting yourself the REDGRAVE Cruz hair..it comes in two separate pieces ( Front and back) and  is  modifiable down to the last hair via  a resizer. I am also wearing what I think will fast become my favorite pair ( or pairs with the Fatpack) of shoes. The JD  Valentino leaves  little to be desired, so many colors and combo’s available I cannot possibly mention them all. Go get them!

The Pier

Almost 3 1/2 yrs ago I was at work, On a  Mobile App ( shame  on me) when out  of the blue  I get sent an IM and picture.  ” we are crashing your dock” was the  message. Of  course  I was curios and asked who she was,the answer ” well Duh, I’m the hot  blonde”. That was the first few words of a relationship/ Friendship that has grown 100 fold. Roxi has  been with  me thru thick and  thin, thru my battles and  victories.  mainly battles  lol. But..in the end we have always  known when it comes time we can count  on each other. I can not begin to express how I feel about this woman so I will sum it up with three words ” I’m an Avocado” Watch the link to the song ( here) and below you will see the first picture she sent..smiles..no..we weren’t pro’s.

Todays  post  I am bringing you 2 skins that are available at the Love is  in the Air event. The first  one  being the -Belleza- Mae Desire, Man have we came along way when the mesh bodes were made for the women of second life. They are a work of art.  She is also wearing a  new release by ARGRACE, that  being the IRORI hair..I love this place..and wear the male hair almost daily. It comes complete with the scarf in different  colors. The dress..oh the dress, though you can not see them it comes complete with shorts and thigh high boots…yummy. It seems ( because  I am not the  one wearing it) to fit and  move well in poses and is very well done. It’s available @ We Love Rp

Ok, Once again back to the  man stuffs! I am wearing the Clef de Peau:Tadao:Skin thats at the event, it comes with appliers for the slink ands and feet as well as a full applier for the TMP newest mesh male  body, 4 tones  in all. It has..to me an Asian  look but  what do I know  lol. Once again I am also wearing the [Deadwool]  Dandy suit also available at Love is in the Air..This  time  in  the Blanket texture. I have toted about what I think  ( here).  I am also wearing His Bowler hat..and I love it. Was very easy to actually wear a decent hair under it and the textures are to die for.

Dandy Days

Hello all!  Finally I am a big  boy! This marks my 100th post and I would  like  to thank each and everyone  of you for supporting me.
Its been a journey for sure. I think in celebration you all should give me linden!..What!?..I have  been keeping you entertained for 100 posts..that shit aint free ya  know! ( ok.maybe  it is free..grins)
I would  like to thank each and everyone  of  my sponsors as well, Had I actually  known this was going to be my 100th I would  have gotten out the fireworks and made a  miss mash of you all.

But..but..I do bring you something thats..well..amazing. Ok..ya sitting down?.. I kid you not  when I say I have found the best suit I have ever seen in SL.
I was talking to Roxi when I found  it and told her the exact same thing..Her response ” thems big words” I will admit, with good reason I am totally enamored with FATEwear/ FATEplay and  hold every designer up to his par, Therefore I rarely..very rarely wear anything else, much less buy..well..today, my friends, Deadwool has earned its place as an option. The cut and shadowing, the textures, the wrinkles  in all the right places.  Theres even stretching on the back at the shoulders. Not  only  Does  it  look and feel real..it also comes with a hud that has 17 textures for the Tie, 12 for the Shirt and 11 for the Pochette..all glorious.
So If your a man and haven’t bought this..or a woman with a  man that hasn’t..well..what the hell are you waiting for.

True Friends

True friends come once in a lifetime, the friend that you can share your happiest moments with, along with the darkest.
Roxi is that friend for me, my confidant, my port in the storm, my glimmer of hope when all else fails.

But ,a few days ago… I failed her. I failed to believe she would be ok with me telling her the truth, telling her a secret I had been holding in hopes of not hurting her…I’ll explain.
She looks forward to the Hair fair, not only for the hairs, but what it stands for. Last year, and the year before, and the the year before that she has pretty much well spent the entire time the event was open…at the event. She just stands there and takes it all in, from the scenery to the massive amounts of people that go there from every walk of life in the world we call Second Life.
She spends thousands…no, tens of thousands on hair while the event is open. It’s a win win for her, not only does she get the most fabulous hair she also knows that most of what she spends go’s to a cause she holds dear to her heart.
This year was a bit different though, She had started a blog a few days before the event last year and decided to apply for the bloggers group. She waited and she watched the Hair Fair site for months, even getting ansy when the fair was getting close and the applications hadn’t been posted on the site. But, she knew that running such and event takes alot of work so she waited for them to be posted and then filled it out.

Now, comes my failure. when the bloggers for the event were given the invite to the group, she waited for 2 days she waited, doing nothing but crossing her fingers and looking at her screen. No shopping, no taking blog shots…nothing. She asked in groups if the invites had been sent out, she asked friends…she asked me….I said nothing. I had been sent an invite to the group.

You need to understand how much this woman means to me…everything. So I knew..I just knew that when I told her that I had gotten an invite it would crush her. Not because I was chosen and she wasn’t…but because thats the whole reason she started to blog, so she could share her own version of what the event means to her with friends and family, and complete strangers for that matter. I failed her, I failed her in so many ways I can’t count. But the biggest one..the most important one….I failed to believe in her, I failed to have enough faith in her, I failed to be her friend.

My father told me long ago ” Don’t ever say your sorry, saying that after the fact doesn’t make a bit of difference”…” It doesn’t make the thing you did right..it only causes more pain”
He went on to say ” Instead of being sorry…don’t do it to begin with and/or learn from the mistake”

This is what I’ve learned. I’ve learned that Roxi….Roxi, has More grace than I ever imagined. She has strength and willpower than I will ever have. She knows how to be a true friend….. and I can never thank her enough for that.

I will be blogging and giving more detail on both this, yet again Amazing collection offered by 8f8 @ The Seasons Story, and the greatest collection of Hair designers on the grid that are all in one place.. The Hair fair. For now though..well…it’s friends before pleasure.
