FaMESHed 5th Anniversary Contest (The Wanderer)

 

To celebrate their 5th anniversary FaMESHed has a gorgeous  new build and 83 (I think) designers participating this month.

They will  be running an anniversary photo contest, with huge prizes for the winners. You can check  the FaMESHed website and Facebook page for all the details.

Many of the  creators will also be supplying free gifts to those that join the  FaMESHed Update Group (which is free to join). The gifts can be found in the gift boxes ( designed  by no other than  Apple Fall!) next to the booths. You need to make sure you are wearing the FaMESHed tag when you click the gift.

So….I  was  going  to  name  this  picture Knight  takes Rook..but  obviously someone doesn’t  know  about  chess. The  rook  is  the foundation upon  which  the game is  built..just  like  Roxi..she  is  my  rock.. my  calm  from  the  storm. ( coughs) would you like  another glass of wine? Oh  to  relive  those  days with the  knowledge  I  have  now..high school would be  soon much  better. I played a lot  of  sports  in school, Football, basketball, baseball  and  track but  I wouldn’t have  called  myself  a  jock.  I  didn’t hang  out  that  much  with the  other players but.. I saw really  early  on what  being  in  sports  brought…Girls…lots  of  girls. Being  on the  team also  brought  other  benefits I was  in shape (  man  I wish  I  had  those  abs  again) and  traveled  across  the  state for  games so  I got to  see  a lot  of the  state  I lived  in.  But that wasn’t  all…remember  what  I  said  about  girls? well..even  at  the  tender  age  of  16 that wasn’t my thing…or  dream  rather. My  dream  was my  English  teacher. She  was a  redhead with  freckles going  into  places  I  could only  imagine ( though  on occasion when  she  wore  the  right  shirt I did  my  best  to  count  each  and  everyone  of  them). She  also  happened  to  be…. the  cheer coach. Did  I tell  you  that the  cheerleaders rode  the  same  bus back and  forth to  games with  us? Now you  get the  picture. So for  all  those  Ms Mcquays out  there..thank  you  for  giving  us  dreams.

Gore,gore gore… oh… look a puppy!
I  usually don’t  get  all  giddy like  a  school boy about to  get his  first  kiss ..but..this  daym  puppy  is  freaking  cute!….  the  french  bull dog  comes  in a  close   second lol.
You  really  really  need  to  get  this.why  you  say?.. because  its  a puppy! so  grab  your  wallet and  head  on  over  to  the  arcade.
I am  also  wearing a  hair, that  I admit I  over  looked but  i was  so  tired  of  looking  like every other  guy  in  sl so  I went  shopping and  found  this  amazing  hair.The  hair base i would  recommend  to  anyone  who  has a   mesh  head.  it  fits  most  mesh boys  and  is  mod so  you  can  adjust  it  to  your  shape..did  I  mention  its  3D..yes.. 3D.The  beard  is  by  Spellbound and  is  also mod. While  it  only comes  in  the  basic  colors ( light  brown, brown,  dark  brown  and  black) it  too  is  mod  so  I was able  to  match  the  hair. Now.. I  know  this  may  seem  crazy ..but  the  fellows  out there  will  understand.   SL  beards, while  mod  never  seem  to  fit  your  face.  things  are  all  good  and  dandy  when your  not  wearing  a  mesh  head because  you  can  adjust  the  beard  to  near  perfect then  adjust  the  fullness  of  your  cheeks to  match the  shape of  your  beard. With  a  mesh  head theres no  adjusting..so.. I’m  wearing  2  beards  yes..2 the  beard  by  Vika  I found  a  long  time  ago,  it  was actually  one  of the  first  beards  I  purchased. by  wearing  it  under  the  spellbound  I  was  able  to  adjust  it to  fit  my  heads  shape and  ” fill  in”  the   cheeks.  if  you  have   beard.. or  know  someone  that  has a  beard..tell them  to  go  get  this they  won’t  be  sorry.

An unexpected ride

Hello  peeps, Today I  am Mr Badass..or  rather I am blogging  about  two  very badass bikes, some  badass  jeans  and  a leather vest (  cut ). I  got the  message  a  few days  ago  about  deco’s  new ” Outlaw Collection” and  had  to  go  try  the  demo…and it’s fantastic,you  can even  Mod the  patches and  make  the  vest  your very  own. Now  I am  no biker by  a  long  shot, but  I do  like  to  ride  every  now  and  then. Its  mostly  at the Sau sim but  being that  I  live  right  on route 8  on the mainland  I  take  a  cruz down that every  now  and  then.

I  already  had a  few  sau bikes but  I had  been  drooling  over  the Faust since Nir  released it. Its a beautiful bike perfectly detailed  down  to  well..the last detail. Unfortunately I am  strapped so  thats  all  I was able  to  do. I was so  impressed  with  it I had  to find  a way  to  blog  it…there in lies the  problem.  I asked  in the say group  if  anyone  had  the Faust that  I could  ” borrow” to  finish  off  a scene  that  I had setup already with the Gilgamesh, Mouse and  a  few  more of  her  bikes  that  I own.  At  first there was  silence..then a  few  smart ass  replies. I was  ready  to   say  fuck  it  when Bluntforce Sol popped into  my inbox. He said  he  saw the  group  convo and  decided to  go look at the bike  one  more  time. like  me  he  had  also  been  salivating  over  it and..well…that  one  last test ride  after I  mentioned  it sealed the  deal. within 20  minutes he was  on  my  platform and  rezzing the  bike  for  me.. within another  2  he  had  friended  me  and  given  me  his  perms..amazing.  Blunt  is  the  leader of the  pack of Iron Angels, a strictly male club and  looks like a total badass, but unlike  a lot  of the  other biker presidents  I  have  ran  into,  isn’t  full  of  himself and  is  a  very  likable  guy..almost  friendly. Don’t  tell  him I told  you  that  or  he  will  have  me  scrubbing  floors  in a thong  over  at  the  clubs female charter  Eternal Soulz which  is  ran  by candycane Amulet. (  she had already suggested  it! ) The  club  is  on a  private  sim but  if  your  interested or  even  a  bit  curious give  either  one  of them  a  ring and  I am  sure  they  will show  you  around.
